The incident took place at Rabindra Nagar market area of Sonamura.

The driver named Dipak Dey was on his way to Shobapur from Sonamura. As soon as he came to Rabindra Nagar market, a street dog came in front of his auto. He used a sudden break and the auto turned over.

Eyewitnesses rushed to the spot and took him to Sonamura hospital but seeing his condition was serious, after primary treatment, he was referred to GB hospital.
