AGARTALA, Sep 12 (TIWN): Tripura Medical College (TMC) located hospital which is a very famous hospital in Tripura has witnessed protests by medicine shop holders after the hospital launched another generic medicine center amid it already has a medicine center.

Generic medicine center generally provides medicines at lower cost. With the rising medicine prices, and patients’ pressure increased, the hospital authority felt the necessity of generic medicine centers but it has triggered protest as the local pharm holders are speculating business losses due to that.
