AGARTALA, Sep 12 (TIWN): “Save us; or they will kill us….”, Krishna Datta appealed to police while conveying his appeal to State Govt and Police via media standing in front of Amtali Police Station.
Reportedly, at Charipara of AD Nagar, one local Pradip Das and his gang are pressuring Krishna Datta to vacate his land. Several times, in group the mafias came and beat up Krishna Datta.
There is constant harassment, terror going on in the house of Krishna Datta.
The incident happened at AD Nagar, Charipara. Yesterday, some miscreants attempted to kidnap Krishna Datta.
Police were informed about the incident yesterday night but so far no action has been taken. The victim family appealed to CM Manik Saha to take step to save them as CM himself raised voice for making Tripura “Mafia Free state”.
Land issue and commission collection, forceful vacating of land are the common problems people are facing in Tripura for a long time.
