AGARTALA, Sep 12 (TIWN): SDPO Prasun Kanti Tripura's stern action against hooligans in Teliamura has been praised by netizens. SDPO was on his way to his regular destination and he came to know that in a spot, some people have gathered and were forcing vehicle drivers, passengers to give them donation for Biswakarma puja. SDPO threatened them on camera saying “Will stop you puja…..did you take permission for puja? I am surprise to see your increasing dares!”

Then SDPO was coming down of his car and it was seen that the puja donation collectors were running away.

Some police were seen also chasing them. The SDPO then questioned some youths for their gathering reason, whether they were involved in drugs or anything.

In the end, SDPO did not arrest anyone but warned the youth. Local people also complained about such youth creating disturbance in the area.

Source said that the SDPO was informed about these illegal activities and he caught the hooligans red-handed.

Netizens have also requested other officials to follow SDPO Prasun Kanti Tripura’s way of operation to stop public harassment.
