AGARTALA, Sep 11 (TIWN): Saying Tipra Motha can’t do anything for the people of Tripura, many senior leaders of Tipra Motha including Dinesh Debbarma resigned from the party. Talking to media the senior leaders said they are no more hopeful about Tipra Motha party and can’t depend on the leadership of Tipra Motha. “You must have seen, since the Election result declaration, Tipra Motha has been playing a silent role. No protest, no movement started for the people’s benefit. As a result, we have decided to move away from Tipra Motha and start our new party. We have chosen the 9/11 attack day that is a tragic historical day to relaunch our party".
Tipraland State Party leaders had joined Tipra Motha before 2023 Election hoping that the Tipraland demand could be placed in more better way unitedly but since the Election was over, the activities of Tipra Motha party were allegedly not impressive. So the leaders planned to go back to the original track and to restart their party in full swing which will fight for the indigenous people and demand a separate state for them.
