AGARTALA, Sep 8 (TIWN): Claiming ‘Democracy’ has been displayed in full form during the by-poll session in Tripura, Chief Minister Manik Sarkar assures there will be no disturbance after the post poll result period.
His statement came amid Tripura’s recent record of “violence” triggered after each poll results with one-way attack on the opposition especially during former CM Manik Sarkar’s time.
However, amid viral videos of poll rigging, CM Manik Saha said, there was no disturbance and democracy had won over all rumors.
On the other hand, CPI-M State Secretary Jitendra Chowdhury said, “BJP should be ashamed of the poll results”. The CPI-M party also boycotted counting halls today.
