AGARTALA, Sep 8 (TIWN): In a landmark victory BJP has gained both seats in Tripura by-polls.

Celebration in BJP party offices has kicked off as BJP has won both the Dhanpur and Boxanagar assembly seats in Tripura. The election was held on September 5.

After this win, its total number of seats in the Tripura assembly is 33.

BJP's Tafajjal Hossain won the Boxanagar seat and Bindu Debnath bagged the Dhanpur seat.
