AGARTALA, Sep 8 (TIWN): After the significant loss of the CPI-M party in Tripura by-polls, Congress State President Asish Saha said, the Left front had failed to handle the battle more unitedly and strongly.
Congress State President Asish Saha said that CPI-M could bring more opposition parties together to fight against this poll terror and poll rigging.
“There is nothing to react over the poll results. It was expected because it was not a poll but vote loot by BJP………..One thing is clear as far as BJP is in Tripura, Democracy can not be safe”, said Asish Saha.
After this win, its total number of seats in the Tripura assembly is 33.
BJP's Tafajjal Hossain won the Boxanagar seat and Bindu Debnath bagged the Dhanpur seat.
