AGARTALA, Sep 4 (TIWN): Sepahijala District Magistrate Vishal Kumar, IAS has assured a free and fair poll tomorrow in Dhanpur and Boxanagar constituencies. Talking to media ahead of by-polls, the DM said, there will be so problem during the poll as security has been tightened but still if anyone face any problem in casting votes or related issues, must call 1950 for help. Also political parties have been given the number along with other sector officers’ numbers.
“Our police personnel are working hard to maintain the peace. All officials have been trained for the poll day”, DM added.
Voting is to start from 7 am on Tuesday in Tripura by-poll bound constituencies : Boxanagar and Dhanpur. Today, polling personnel have left for their destinations with EVM and other poll tools. On Monday morning polling personnel collected equipment and started for their poll centers from Sonamura HS Girls school’s strong room, where all EVMs will be kept back once the poll is over.
