AGARTALA, Sep 4 (TIWN): Voting will start from 7 am and to continue till 4 pm on Tuesday in Tripura by-poll bound constituencies : Boxanagar and Dhanpur. Today, polling personnel have left for their destinations with EVM and other poll tools. On Monday morning polling personnel collected equipment and started for their poll centers from Sonamura HS Girls school’s strong room, where all EVMs will be kept back once the poll is over. Polling personnel are generally state govt employees and dedicated to the public services.

Security has been tightened up in the polling areas and also in the town.

Opposition party CPI-M has demanded a free and fair poll, demanded more security citing how the previous polls were rigged throughout Tripura in past few years.
