AGARTALA, Sep 3 (TIWN): In a shocking instance, many workers of a restaurant in Agartala found stranded after they demanded money from the owner of the restaurant. The restaurant has been identified as 'Rishubi Fish and Juice Bar', located in Krishna Nagar of the capital city Agartala. Talking to a worker who has been working for 27 days told TIWN, “I joined 27 days back, but people are there, who are working for more than 1 and half months but their salaries are also not given. How can we manage our family expenditure without money?”
Their salaries were promised Rs. 7,000.
At last, they were bound to complain to the Police Station to recover their salaries. Police summoned the restaurant owner and asked the owner to clear the amount. The owner assured that by September 5th, he would pay them off but when the workers returned restaurant, the owner of the restaurant removed them from the shop depriving them of meals and shelter saying, they would not be given their salary.
