AGARTALA, Aug 28 (TIWN): Resented public have stopped construction works of a school in Santir Bazar subdivision’s Kanchan Nagar area. The school has been identified as West Bagafa Higher Secondary School where before one year, Minister Ratan Lal Nath launched a project for school building. The project cost Rs. 4 Crores and it was undertaken by local contractors but allegedly by using political muscles, some people managed to get the project but the quality of the work has been very poor.

Yesterday till night 9 pm when the construction work was going on, local people stopped the project work. They complained that as the work was of poor quality, so the work has been done mostly during night hours.
