AGARTALA, Aug 26 (TIWN): During Naka-checking at 41-Mile on National Highway, Mungiakami police got information about drug-network. Based on that, police started an investigation.
Reportedly, on Saturday morning during searches, a car bearing number AS01MA7568 was stopped. When police interrogated with the driver, it sounded suspicious.
The driver said, before reaching Kumarghat a man and a woman came down from the vehicle with the tablets.
Police have detained the driver for further interrogation but no name was disclosed by police for the sake of investigation.
