‘First time in Tripura By-Poll, a CM is campaigning for Candidates’ : CPI-M

AGARTALA, Aug 26 (TIWN): CPI-M State Secretary Jitendra Chowdhury mocked CM Manik Saha for going for ‘Door to Door’ campaigning for By-Poll candidates.
According to Jitendra Chowdhury, it’s first time in Tripura’s poll history that a CM is in door to door campaigning.
“CM may campaign for own constituency but in by-poll such scenarios were never seen. That shows the position of BJP in the by-poll”, said Jitendra Chowdhury.
Tripura by-polls to be held on September 5 in Boxanagar and Dhanpur constituencies.
