AGARTALA, Aug 15 (TIWN): Prime Minister Modi while addressing the nation from Red Fort on 77th Independence Day said, India is known as the mother of Democracy and Diversity. Modi said, amid lots of differences among the people, and communities, the nation has been living in unity and harmony and the unity has crossed beyond borders too. “When Manipur suffers, Maharashtra cries. When flood hits Assam, Kerala worries and that’s India. Women are now progressing more than men. We can not leave any part of India undeveloped. When we talk about Bharat Mata it’s the whole body of the nation and if a single part of the body is not well, then the body can not be called fit. That’s why we are targeting the overall development of the nation and to uplift its each portion. Nobody should be lagging behind”.
