For Boxanagar, the candidate will be Mizan Hossain and for Dhanpur, Koushik Chandra will be the candidates.

CPI-M State Secretary Jitendra Chowdhury declared the candidates’ names.

However, yesterday CPI-M held meeting with Congress and Tipra Motha to contest jointly. Now, it’s not sure how Congress and Tipra Motha would react to the decision of the Left Front.

Jitendra Chowdhury said, “These both constituencies traditionally belong to Left Front and voters will vote for the Left Front candidates”. 

The nominations will be submitted on 16th August by Left Front candidates.
