AGARTALA, Aug 13 (TIWN): Reacting to Tripura Opposition Parties meeting to fight jointly in the upcoming Bypolls, Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said that such alliances already flopped in 2023 Assembly Poll and will not work this time too.
The Minister was addressing media on Saturday night, when BJP called an initial meeting led by CM Manik Saha to decide the strategies to win the upcoming bypolls in two seats---Dhanpur and Boxanagar.
“It was just a preliminary meeting. The main meeting will be conducted on 15th August and hopefully nomination to be submitted by 17th August. Then our national leaders to guide us and take other decisions”, added the Minister.
Tripura Bypoll will be held on September 5 in two constituencies ---- 1) Dhanpur and 2) Boxanagar.
