AGARTALA, Aug 3 (TIWN): With the Lok Sabha Election knocking the doors, the trainway connectivity decisions are getting faster. Minister Sushanta Chowdhury on Thursday hailed the Govt of India and praised the Central Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for approving one more Rail connectivity for Tripura. Talking to media at the Secretariat, Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said that he had written a letter to the Central Railway Ministry appealing for the increase of coaches in the trains with the rising demands for Agartala Dharmanagar, Agartala Sabroom railways. Reacting to the demand the Central Ministry has increased a train itself to ease the route.
“We demanded coaches but we got a train for Agartala Sabroom, Sabroom Agartala railway. That’s the positive results of the double-engine govt”, said Minister Sushanta Chowdhury.
The state Minister also said not only Railway but the transport system has been updated under the BJP Govt and its Double Engine Govt.
Right now there are three demu trains and now the number to be increased to four.
