AGARTALA, Aug 2 (TIWN): Amid hypes on ‘Vidyajyoti’ projects and ‘Model State Tripura’, due to lack of benches and classrooms are forcing students to continue classes in Mid-Day-Meal hall room. Such a scenario was witnessed in Belonia Kukichara where little children were sitting in the Mid-Day-Meal hall room amid rainy weather. Talking to the students, they said, they often suffer due to extreme heat, sometimes rain. Due to rainy weather, threats of thunder also prevail in the area which put the students’ lives at risks.
On being asked, students told media that since they were in Class-6, they got the area for their classes.
Also, mid-day-meal food is distributed in the same hall. As a result, students are forced to study in unhygienic conditions.
