AGARTALA, July 26 (TIWN): With rising cross border smuggling, BSF, Police in state Tripura have been facing challenges to control the drug peddling network in the state. BSF on Tuesday seized a vehicle with ESkuf bottles although the driver of the vehicle that was carrying the numberplate – TR01 G 1741 managed to escape. Over 200 bottles of ESkuf were seized by BSF, later handed over to police.

So far nobody could be arrested, although police have started investigation to trace the culprits behind.

The seized vehicle has been kept under the custody of Airport PS Police.
