AGARTALA, July 22 (TIWN): India got freedom from British in 1947 but the nation is captured by political muscles forcing people to pay the price due to Govt’s silence over corruption in system or political torments on the citizens.
In such an incident, a pipeline work that was going on under Pradhan Mantri Jal Jeevan Mission in Charilam’s Aralia village was allegedly stopped by some local BJP leaders after the contractor did not pay Rs. 1 Lakh to the BJP Booth President Abu Mia and another member Dulal Mia.
As a result, right now the pipeline work has been stopped, depriving locals from getting the benefit given by the Central Govt to all.
