AGARTALA, July 18 (TIWN): The Anganwadi employees raised the issue of working hours complaining “7 am to 1 pm working hours are inhuman”.
They also demanded salaries should not be delayed and must be given within 1st day of the month.
They further alleged that Govt is not clearing their arrears including mobile recharge for online works.
“It was promised that at each 1.5 month our fund will be managed but every time we have to sit in protest. When we protest, the authority does not want to meet us. Today also the same issue has erupted. Each Anganwadi center needs at least 10000 rupees and our salaries are highest 10000”, said the agitating Anganwadi employee.
A protest was staged at the Social Welfare Dept.
