AGARTALA, July 12 (TIWN): Tripura Congress has alleged ‘intimidation’ and prevention of people from joining Satyagraha protest that was organized in support of Rahul Gandhi, as a part of Nationwide protest. Congress leaders who demonstrated at the Gandhi statue in Agartala said, many people who wanted to join the program but out of threat and fear they could not join. Also, the program was scheduled to be held at the Secretariat but police mechanism was set in such a way, that it could cause a tussle and to avoid such things, Congress decided to protest peacefully at Gandhighat near Gandhi statue. The Congress leaders and protest participants remained silent during the protest and covered their mouth with black clothes.
