AGARTALA, July 11 (TIWN): Pilgrims injured in the accident at Kumarghat Rath are being treated at GB Hospital.

At least 5 persons are still admitted to the GB Hospital.

Sudhanshu Das, Minister of state's scheduled caste welfare, animal resource development and fisheries department, visited the hospital on Tuesday to inquire about their physical condition.

He also announced financial assistance of 15 thousand rupees from the Scheduled Caste Welfare Department for the 5 injured people who are currently undergoing treatment.
