AGARTALA, July 10 (TIWN): Tripura Congress MLA Sudip Barman on Monday while addressing Congress’s demonstration in Agartala against rising crimes in the state said that due to his weakness against injustice he can’t show tolerance to the BJP Govt.
“I just had to bow my head a little and I could easily stay with the Govt but when I saw how people are cheated, how they are tortured, I could not go ahead with the Govt”, said Barman.
“I could not and can not digest corruption and injustice. Remember, Congress is India and India is Congress”, said Barman.
Congress MLA Sudip Barman quit the BJP govt before 2023 Election to join Congress. Along with party, Sudip Barman also had gave up his MLA post but in 2023 Assembly election he won again but as a Congress MLA.
