AGARTALA, July 10 (TIWN): Amid IT revolution could not be conducted in reality so far in Tripura, in Budget 2023-24’s Information Technology section it has been said by Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, “With an initiative to make Digital Tripura, the State Government has rolled out e-office in the State in a mission mode during the financial year 2023-24. The main objectives of the initiative is to make paperless Office, to enhance transparency and increase accountability in Governance. During the last financial year, our Government has already provided Rs. 5000/- to each of 11,892 students for purchasing Smart phones under Mukhyamantri Yuba Yogayog Yojana. Smart phones will be provided to 12000 students during the current year”.
“I propose to provide 3,000 FTTH connections for rural State Government establishments, private establishments and households. Facility of Public WiFi will be provided in 300 GP/VCs of Tripura. I also propose to launch 31 Mobile Common Service Center (mCSCs) with an outlay of Rs. 4.13 Cr. I propose to set up Video Conferencing (VC) System in all offices of SubDivisional Magistrates and Block Development Offices with an outlay of Rs. 6.70 Cr for better governance and review of government programmes”, said Roy.
