‘Tripura GSDP raised 8.8% which proves a high Economic Growth’ : Finance Minister

AGARTALA, July 9 (TIWN): Tripura’s GSDP has massively raised, said by State Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy during budget place.
He stated, “In last five years we have taken number of steps for people’s welfare and economic development. This August House will be happy to know that State economy (GSDP) is estimated to have grown by 8.80 % during last FY 2022-23, compared to 7.20% growth estimated at national level. The State is estimated to grow at about 8.00% during the current FY 2023-24 as against estimated 6 to 6.5% growth at national level”.
“This` high economic growth is the reflection of our efforts for development of the State”, he added.
