AGARTALA, July 9 (TIWN): In an embarrassing situation for the Govt and local administration, public took work of fixing road in their area by spending from their own pocket.

The incident took place at Chakma Para of Ram Nagar Panchayat, under Gandachera subdivision.

Locals said, so many political parties come and go before the election promising them development but in reality a road could not be made for them. As a result, they were bound to fix their own road in the area.
