AGARTALA, July 9 (TIWN): Saying “Free Education is everyone’s right”, All India Students Forum organized a press meet and demanded the hikes fees must be decreased immediately.

“We already placed a deputation seeking fee reduction but no response came. We demand not only decrease of fees but the entire fee should be removed from the entrance system”, said the Forum members.

“Getting access to Free Education is everyone’s right. Anyone who wants to get higher education in India, should be given chance of free education but instead of doing that Govt has increased fees heavily”, said the Forum, adding further, “This Govt runs through public money and it’s duty of the Govt to provide free education to all”.

The forum gave an ultimatum of 7 days to the Govt for taking action to waive fees from education system.
