AGARTALA, July 7 (TIWN): Tripura Congress stirred protest against the judgement Gujarat High Court in Rahul Gandhi’s case.

Congress also said that they will approach the Supreme Court shortly after the high court upheld a sessions court's order denying the stay on conviction.

The Gujarat High Court on Friday dismissed Gandhi's plea seeking a stay on his conviction in a criminal defamation case over his "Modi surname" remark.
