AGARTALA, July 7 (TIWN): In another innovative idea of protest, Tripura Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman threw Ganga Jal and Tulsi Water on the BJP MLAs and the Assembly Hall while entering on Friday in a way of condemning State Govt’s zero-action against BJP MLA Jadab Lal Nath’s porn clip watching incident in March, 2023.

Sudip Barman held the protest in silent mode after the opposition party MLA protested in the Assembly over the issue, asking why no action was taken against the BJP MLA. A chaos occurred in the Assembly on Friday due to the protest. The opposition parties asked, if law is same for all, on which ground, the MLA was not sacked from the Assembly.

Opposition parties slammed the BJP for its silence and no action taken against MLA Jadab Lal Nath yet after the viral video marked national media headlines where the MLA was seen watching porn clips on his mobile phone during Assembly Session on March 27, 2023, Monday.

After the incident, stressing upon discrimination of law’s implementation, Tripura Assembly opposition leader Animesh Debbarma asked, “Is the law not same for all? If such an incident occurred by any Opposition member, then how would the BJP react? Even Rahul Gandhi lost his post in Parliament for his speech outside the Parliament and Tripura BJP MLA Jadab Lal Nath has committed such an activity inside Assembly. We are not against Jadab Lal Nath’s watching bluefilm, we are against his watching blue film inside the Assembly”.
