Battery Thieves’ Gang Busted : 4 Arrested by East Agartala Police

AGARTALA, July 5 (TIWN): East Agartala Police arrested three persons in connection battery theft incidents. Later another person was detained in this incidents' connection.
SP Kiran Kumar said, such batteries are theft from TomTom rickshaws. Along with batteries recovery, water-pump machines, laptop, mobiles etc have been recovered from the thieves.
Case has been lodged under section 448, 457, 380, 401, 382B.
The SP further told media that more recoveries are expected as during interrogation more information can be gathered and police would get more information about the gang.
SP Kiran Kumar has suspected that there is a huge gang that operates theft incidents in the city.
