BELONIA, July 1 (TIWN): CPI-M party led by four of its Left wings held a protest in Belonia with 7 points of demands.
Three left-wing mass organizations, Sara Bharat Krishak Sabha, Khet Majdoor Union, Ganamukti Parishad organized the rally.
On Saturday around 12:00 PM, the procession started from the CPI-M Bilonia Sub-Divisional Office.
Total seven-point demands of the people's interests were raised by the Left wings.
The demands are that all the irrigation reservoirs should be activated and made operational by the government, adequate use of fertilizers and pesticides, facilities should be provided to all aspects of agriculture including harvesting, paddy planting, sufficient mandays under MGNREGA, TUEP etc.
