AGARTALA, June 28 (TIWN): In a horrifying incident, at least 6 persons died and 6 are serious with burn injuries in Kumarghat after during Ratha Yatra festival electric wire had fallen on the iron made Rath structure (chariot). Many human bodies were seen burnt alive, whereas many were screaming while trapped inside the Rath. People were screaming seeing the devastating scenario and bodies were set on fire and few trapped inside the Rath were screaming for help. Talking to the eye-witnesses, they said the Rath is iron made and that’s why the electricity accident happened. This incident has not only shocked Kumarghat but entire Tripura now mourns over the unnatural deaths of the innocent lives.
