2 Dead in Road Accident: Agitated Public Blocked Road

AGARTALA, June 26 (TIWN): Two people died on the spot after being hit by a Maruti Swift Dzire in Bhikarai Para area of Kailashahar on Sunday night.
3 people were seriously injured.
The public became agitated over the incident as the Kanika Memorial Primary Health Center ambulance failed to bring the injured to the district hospital.
Reportedly, public vandalized the hospital and ambulances. Dr. Satyajit Dutta was injured during the attack in hospital.
Seeking a control in road mishaps, public today blocked road. Later District Magistrate Tarit Kumar Chakma rushed to the spot and talked to the agitators.
