AGARTALA, June 25 (TIWN): Tripura BJP’s political ally IPFT party which has just left as a skeleton-structure in Tripura, though holding the State Ministry by Tribal Welfare Minister and one and only MLA of the IPFT Sukla Charan Noatia, has organized a press meet at Minister Sukla Charan Noatia’s home. IPFT’s press meet was held amid Tipra Motha Party turning the major opposition party has grabbed the Tiprasa community’s popularity and organized a mass gathering with Greater Tipraland and Roman Script in Kokborok-like demands in Agartala. Today, IPFT in press meet announced that like every year on 23rd August, IPFT will observe Tipraland Demand Day and also over 150 representatives will leave for Delhi on that day. There, IPFT will protest at Jantar Mantar with demand for Roman Script that should be issued for Kokborok language.
Along with that demand, the Tipraland, which is a separate state will also be demanded from the Central Govt and will place a memorandum.
IPFT also said, they met CM Manik Saha yesterday and demanded Roman script for Kokborok language and a permanent solution to this matter.
