AGARTALA, June 23 (TIWN): Another violation of human rights and constitutional right was reported in Kailashahar where Women Police Station has allegedly not lodged FIR of a woman against some accused persons.
Allegation raised against Kailashahar Women PS OC- Rinki Debbarma for not lodging the FIR and harassing the complainer.
The victim resident of Booth No-42 told media that her husband was arrested in a case and detained in Kailashahar Jail but on Thursday night, the some miscreants of her area attacked her home and pelted stones, bricks. The youths could be identified by the victim woman.
But today when she visited the PS to lodge complaint, her complaint was not lodged.
Due to insult and harassment, the women had fallen sick in the police station but police did not arrange anything to shift her to hospital.
