The deceased's brother Sujit Sarkar complained that his brother's death was due financial crisis.

“When the vote comes, the leaders call us from home. No one cares about us after voting. My brother has been sick for a long time. But due to lack of money, he could not go to GB Hospital for treatment. He has three daughters. It was becoming impossible for him to arrange two times meal. Due to financial stress he died”, said the deceased’s brother.
