AGARTALA, June 21 (TIWN): Tipra Students Federation (TSF) held a protest today seeking Roman Script for Kokborok language.
The organization wanted to place a memorandum to the Governor of Tripura but they were stopped in the middle by police at Circuit house.
Students from school and colleges joined the protest.
TSF said, if the Govt does not agree to their decades-long demand of making Roman script official for the Kokborok then there will larger protests.
