AGARTALA, June 20 (TIWN): Accusing of being cheater, Tipra Motha chief Pradyot Manikya on Tuesday told BJP via media that as BJP has cheated Tipra Motha, now it will see its result. “Forget about promises given to us. BJP made various promises like Tribal University to all other promises to the voters. They are unable to keep their own promises. How can they fulfill our demands ? I am not afraid of anyone. No money can buy the sentiment of the Tiprasa community. Those who surrendered before power and money, the community will never forgive them”, said Pradyot Manikya at Khumulwng, where he went to talk to the Village Committee members. Manikya also criticized BJP for not organizing Village Committee elections. Pradyot Manikya further said that BJP has turned Tiprasa as second class citizens.
“Before N.C.Debbarma, Mebar Jamatia, nobody will have dare to speak against Greater Tipraland but today in front of Sukla Charan Noatia like leaders, they are uttering such things”, said Pradyot Manikya.
“You (BJP) have cheated us and you will see it’s consequence. Till now, you have seen only my good side but now, you will get reply of your cheating”, said Pradyot Manikya.
