AGARTALA, June 19 (TIWN): The BJP workers who are facing the deprivation inside the party, were asked by Tripura Congress new President Asish Saha to join Congress.

“We assure that you will get back you lost respect. If you feel you are alienated in BJP please join us. I appeal all former activists who are in BJP now, to join back Congress”, said Saha.

Asish Saha was addressing the party workers at Congress Bhawan on the occasion of Rahul Gandhi’s birthday.

Today, Congress MLA Sudip Barman also visited Congress Bhawan in Agartala Post Office Chowmuhani with Asish Saha and felicitated him for becoming party state president.

Asish Saha was announced as the party state president on June 17.
