The strong winds and heavy rains of Wednesday's storm destroyed the only shelter of a poor family.

The incident took place at Ward No. 1 of East Lakshipur ADC Village under Mungiakami R.D Block.

Shyama Charan Debbarma, a resident of Ward No. 1 in East Lakshmipur ADC Village, along with the family was living in this home but it was destroyed in the storm on Wednesday.

It is known that Shyamacharan Debbarma and his family did not get the benefit of any housing scheme even though he is very poor.

Now, storm has taken his one and only shelter. The devastated family sought help from the Govt for survival.
