AGARTALA, June 10 (TIWN): On Saturday, the dead body of a car driver was recovered from a drain in West Pratapgarh Thakur Palli Road area under AD Nagar police station.

This incident has generated tension in the whole area.

It has been known that on Saturday morning, the local residents saw the dead body of the car driver and immediately informed the AD Nagar police station. On being informed police rushed to the spot.

The owner of the car said that deceased Ajit Das came in front of the house late last. That was the last time he had seen Ajit.

Today morning Ajit’s dead body was found in the drain.

The body has been sent for post mortem.
