UDAIPUR, June 8 (TIWN): Rising theft cases have been haunting the people of Udaipur, the city of temples.
Sundar Pal, a resident of Gokulpur Shastriji Sangha area of Udaipur, is a teacher by profession. He had gone out of state for the treatment of his two daughters.
His cancer-patient wife Prabha Das Pal was alone at home.
Yesterday, Prabha Das Pal was not feeling well and felt asleep, when the theft incident took place and she has no idea when the incident happened.
On Wednesday morning, when she woke up and saw that the door and cupboards were all messed up, she was shocked.
When she checked, all important, expensive items were taken away including 60,000 rupees which was kept for the treatment. Police visited the house of the victim and started investigation.
