AGARTALA, June 8 (TIWN): Although the former Education Minister Ratanlal Nath during his tenure of the mentioned Ministry had often hyped about NCERT syllabus implantation but how far, the Govt is following the guidelines, is coming under question marks again and again. As per NCERT guidelines, physical instructors are to be kept in schools but amid qualified aspirants, Tripura Govt is not recruiting physical education teachers, which has erupted resentment against the Govt among the job aspirants. Even after releasing an advertisement about recruiting physical education teachers, so far there is no update led the job aspirants to visit the Higher Education Dept Director on Saturday.
Amid massive unemployment problems, if Tripura Govt could recruit physical education teachers in a massive number it could help in reduction of unemployment problems. Also, it is alleged that in maximum schools, the physical education remained as a neglected subject.
The job aspirants also asked Tripura Govt to recruit them as per PGT Scale as they are having their highest degrees as per needs including Masters Degree. Tripura now has various CBSE schools, converted from TBSE and if Govt wants, it can recruit huge numbers of Physical Education teachers. As per NCERT guidelines and CBSE norms, Physical Instructors / Physical Education teachers are mandatory in schools.
