AGARTALA, June 6 (TIWN): On Tuesday while roaming suspiciously in front of the MBB airport, two Bangladeshi women were arrested by the police. Later, after questioning them it was found that they came to India with the help of a Bangladeshi citizen, a local person and in exchange of money they will be sent to other state from Tripura.
The Airport PS police have started an investigation in this matter. In the investigation, a house under Bamutia PS was jointly raided by the Bamutia PS and the Airport PS Police
Though no one was arrested in this operation, the police seized an auto used for the transportation of Bangladeshi citizens and took it to the airport. Suman Singh, the officer in charge of the Airport PS briefed in details about the identification of the Bangladeshi nationals detained at the police station before the media.
Now, it is to be seen whether the Police Administration is able to stop the illegal Bangladeshi intrusions.
