AGARTALA, June 5 (TIWN): A minor girl was allegedly kidnapped in the capital city Agartala on Monday.

Allegedly on Saturday afternoon the girl was abducted by Suman Ghosh, son of Subhash Ghosh of Narayan Khamar area of Chowmuhani Bazar under Amtali Police Station, on her way to private tuition in Badharghat area.

It is known that the girl was kidnapped and also raped by Suman Ghosh earlier. A case was filed by the girl's family. Currently, this kidnapping and rape case is under trial in the Agartala District and Sessions Judge's Court.

The victim girl's mother told the media on Monday that her daughter was studying in the science department carefully and was not in the mood to run away with someone for love.

The mother of the young girl said Suman Ghosh is known as a mischievous youth in Narayan Khamar area.

So far the girl could not be rescued by police.
