AGARTALA, January 23 (TIWN): The Deputy Drugs Controller on its latest notification has suspended the license of at least eight medical shops temporarily under West and Sepahijala District. The notice has come into effect for the violation of the Drugs and Cosmetics Rule – 1945 by the stakeholders.

The suspension notification says Apu Rai mesars New Priya drugs medical shop at Agartala Motorstand under the West district has been suspended from January 16 till March 15 and another at Office Lane road Debjani Bhowmik Mesars Ananda Medical hall has been suspended from January 16 till January 22.

Besides, under the Sepahijala district Shipra Rai mesars Arugya Medical Hall near the Bishalgarh bridge has been been suspended two months, and on the other Jayanta Rai Chowdhury Mesars Chowdhury Medical Hall near the Boxonagar Hospital has been suspended from January 16 till February 15.
