AGARTALA, March 25 (TIWN): A 46-year-old man named Toton Saha was seriously injured after being hit by a 12-wheeler truck in Jirania Block Chowmuhani area on Saturday.

On his way to Nagar Panchayat from Jilania Block Chowmuhani, the person named Jana Jai Toton Saha was hit by a speeding 12-wheeler truck, and Toton Saha's leg went under the wheel.

Later, when the locals saw the matter and immediately informed the fire brigade, the fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot and Toton Saha was rescued and taken to a local hospital in a bloody condition. From there, he was referred to GB Hospital for better treatment.
