Agartala, January 21 (TIWN): In order to maintain peace, security, law and order in public life, District Magistrate (DM), West Tripura- Abhishek Singh imposed some restrictions on the movement of the public within 500 meter area along Indo-Bangla international border in Sadar and Mohanpur sub-divisions under section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure- 1973.
According to the order, the imposed restrictions would be continued till April 04, 2015. This restriction will be active from 8 pm to 5 am, next morning.
This order will not be applicable for the jawans of Para-military force, Indian Army and police personnel of Tripura Police including those who are involved to maintaining law and order.
Besides, the persons who received legal pass from the SP, SDMs of Sadar and Mohanpur sub-divisions will be out of the order. This order will not affect to those who are involved in government’s work and for the patients. According to the order, if anybody disobeys the restrictions, strict action will be taken as per the Act.
